Meet Your Dental Team

I graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 2008 where I was the recipient of the Operative Dental Award which is a clinically based award given to only one student for excellence in dentistry. Since then I spent five years working in Wisconsin where I lived with my wife and 2 sons. In 2013 we decided that we wanted to move home to Minnesota to be closer to our families. Since moving back, I have been working at Lakeside Family Dentistry where I am enjoying getting to know the patients and have found the staff to be very welcoming with a deep concern for their patients.Continuing to educate myself on the latest technology and dental advancements has been an important part of my career. I have completed courses in both Advanced CEREC Technology and the Advanced Surgical Cadaver Course through the Zimmer Institute. I am a general dentist but I specialize in oral surgery and implant dentistry as well as root canal therapy, crowns, fillings and full mouth reconstruction.In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family going fishing as well as boating, camping and hiking.

I am a northern Minnesota native. I completed my undergraduate studies at UMD Duluth and I received my DDS degree at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. I practiced in my hometown until recently moving to the west metro area, and I was fortunate enough to join the Lakeside Family Dentistry team. There are many wonderful things that drew me to this practice, probably the most significant is how well the entire staff treats our patients and how they genuinely have their best interests in mind. I love working one-on-one with patients and really getting to know them while helping them achieve their optimal oral health. I always strive to keep my patients’ dental appointments as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I am passionate about keeping current with the newest advances in the dental field through continuing education so that I can provide the most comprehensive care to my patients. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Spear Study Club.

My husband and I live in Plymouth and have a 3-year-old daughter named Lucy and a German Shepherd named Skyler. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, running, boating, downhill skiing, and trying out new restaurants.
